Vintage Hankerchief Cushions and Carlow Arts Festival

What another fab day in Carlow, Ireland. Actual sun and heat for two days straight, it must be Summer!! Had a very exciting few weeks with a couple of new stockists for Lollipops and Daydreams. And this week Creative Carlow are back in action with a pop-up shop for the Carlow Arts Festival, Eigse, from the 7th - 16th June. This year a lot of the pop-up shops are on Dublin Street and its wonderful to see the street coming alive again!

I've been trying out some new fabrics and some not so new with these vintage hankerchief cushions. I bought the hankies with the idea of eventually making a quilt out of them but I came to the conclusion they would be too delicate so I've been turning them into cushions instead.

Small boys room is mid make-over. He has a new bed (not new its a gorgeous Art Deco bed which has been waiting for the last four years to be put together), which is much bigger and so the room needs rearranging, its a work in progress this week.

Hope the sun is just as bright where you are!
Have a great day,
PS If you are out and about in Carlow do pop into the Creative Carlow shop on Dublin Street.
